The striped oxford is one of Ralph Lauren’s highest quality shirts. Cut from a two-ply cotton oxford, the weave of the fabric contains two distinct threads which are twisted together giving the garment a soft and subtle basket weave texture. Oxfords are thicker than dress or sports shirts, giving the shirt cleaner crisper lines. Available for summer in the popular short sleeve version which is a classic when worn under a sweater vest. Note the button down-collar and the full color embroidered Polo logo.

I have chosen this short sleeve shirt because it gets pretty hot when working at my office during the summer time. So I decided to give this short sleeve shirt a chance. Previously I was not a big fan of short sleeve shirts, I have to say. The colors are mixed in a very refined and subtle way. It dresses you up without being overdressed. The shirt has very nice fit and finish, and of course a superb delivery service by FedEX. It gets my strongest recommendations. I have to point out that the shirt is purple. On the picture it seems somehow more bluish to me. But it does not matter as far I am concerned. NH Oslo, Norway
